I am currently employed at the LunchBox and I’ve been working there for four months.
Working there as a caterer driver didn’t give me anything new per say, but I have had interesting encounters/situations as the delivery driver. How do I solve a problem on the fly with limited resources or how does one adapt to one delivery making the rest run late
I gained a new outlook on the delivery side of food service.

I have worked for Panera Bread for three and a half years.
I first started as a line cook and worked my way up the ladder from there. I gained further experience in food preparation, working with the new Turbo Chef ovens, and watched more closely on how food came and went in a proper restaurant.
After a year I was promoted to Team Lead and was given some more responsibility. My coworkers became my team and I was in charge of leading them through each shift. I also became a trainer for the new line cooks and eventually took over ordering and receiving the truck order.
In the Spring of 2024 I was promoted to a Team Lead/ Manager In Charge position that taught me basic manager functions and how to use the various online resources Panera has to assist their bakery cafes. I took a two day manager essentials class which taught me more day to day workings of management. I was taught how to read the flow of the cafe, what blockages can come up and how to solve them, how to delegate responsibility, and how to present myself as the Manager In Charge.
In the summer of 2024 I was promoted to Team Manager, shedding the Team Lead role and fully adopted the manager title. I was educated on the administrative side of management, labor costs/balances, and how to work around personnel issues. I gained further experience dealing with and assisting upset guests, knowing my own limits in what problems I can solve myself, and what it means to be in charge of an entire shift.

I worked for Tops in the Carry-Out Café department for a little over a year and a half.
I gained experience with two kinds of fryers, a rotisserie oven, and a two part pizza oven; as well as basic food service experience.
I also gained customer service experience as I worked the register, took and gave out orders, took phone calls, and dealt with unsatisfied customers.
