Zachary Parsons

During my time at Whole Foods, I have worked in a total of 3 different departments. I was originally hired as an E-Cart Shopper, meaning I took incoming online orders, grabbed the requested items from various departments and aisles within the store, and would bag and store those items until the customer or a delivery driver arrived to pick the order up.

After several months I became a Meat Department team member to help with staffing issues. Working behind the meat counter I was responsible for filling the display case as well as preparing any "oven-ready" items we were currently selling. Working with raw meat it was very important to me to keep every surface and all of the equipment as sanitary and as clean as possible.

Finally, I became a Front End team member and that is where I currently work. My daily tasks include things like working the register, bagging, assisting at self check out, collecting shopping carts, and handling returns customer have from the store as well as online orders from Amazon.

• Assisted customers with large purchases by carrying items to vehicles.
• Solicited loyalty program memberships and assisted customers in completing forms to join sales promotions.
• Restocked and organized merchandise in front lanes.
• Monitored safety and security concerns and reported to leadership for resolution.
• Addressed customer needs for price checks and merchandise retrieval from upper shelves or stockroom.
• Monitored service after sale and implemented quick and effective problem resolutions.
• Built relationships with customers and community to promote long term business growth.
