So while volunteering with Sparks Roofing I was doing and learning a lot of things. I would love to build a house of my own one day so I was making sure that I was paying attention to how putting on a roof was done and done correctly. So the main thing I was doing was helping them strip of the old shingles and I would get off the roof and make sure the ground was clean around the area where we were stripping off. Also I was loading up the new shingles onto the Tranzporter which pulls the shingles close enough for them to grab and put on the roof.
So for my Internship I went to Russell High School to help Tim Rice with the baseball team. I was required to do a total of 120 hours while I was working with the team and with coach Tim Rice. The main thing I was there to do was to help develop some of the pitchers on the team and to also help out with the hitters as well. Then after we got done with practice Tim and I would clean the field. So for my overall experience there I would say was very good since I was really seeing how tim would coach his players and make sure they would listen. But the most important thing I learned while I was over there was seeing how to be a more vocal leader to people!
