  • Lead the strategy, implementation, and management of AMCP’s national student programs, including over 90 student pharmacist chapters, Chapter Leadership Academy, national mock interviews, and student programming at annual conferences.
  • Serve as primary advisor for student chapter leaders and faculty advisors, offering best practice guidance for chapter operations, recruitment, and engagement.
  • Manage the AMCP Student Pharmacist Committee and Schools of Pharmacy Relations Committee, facilitating collaboration and executing initiatives to support student development and chapter success.
  • Oversee the AMCP Diplomat Program, including recruitment, onboarding, mentorship, and performance tracking of managed care pharmacists supporting pharmacy schools nationwide.
  • Coordinate educational sessions, networking events, and special initiatives for students and new practitioners at AMCP’s national meetings, such as the Residency Showcase and student receptions.
  • Maintain and enhance online student resources, including web content, directories, electronic newsletters, and member community forums.
  • Oversee the APPE rotation program, managing the application and contracting process, and coordinating with preceptors to ensure a valuable learning experience.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and subject matter experts to support managed care pharmacy education and promote the Fundamentals of Managed Care Pharmacy curriculum.
  • Lead communication and recognition efforts, including chapter mailings, student graduation cords, and annual certificates of achievement.
  • Maintain accurate records of school, student, diplomat, and faculty data in AMCP’s association management system (AMS).
