I previously set-up and operated a 2600 ton metal stamping press (along with other various presses depending on the day). The goal is simple, take coiled or blanked steel and turn it into a functioning component for a multitude of every day used things. Such as but not limited to Trane furnaces and John Deere tractors. I could honestly go on forever about what I've done, so I'll save you a lengthy read. - In my year and change with ASC, I have fulfilled a variety of positions. I've worked in Union, Grvlock, and Cartoning, filled in as lead in Testing for three months, and I am currently acting as a material dispatcher for Grvlock.
- Being that I love learning new things, my time with ASC to this point has been very fulfilling, considering I have had the opportunity to move and learn many different things. Above all the things I have learned with the company, I have also thoroughly enjoyed interacting with the people.
- Considering myself a leader, I enjoy motivating, helping individuals solve problems, and finding solutions that don't always jump right off the page.
- I have a good understanding of the process in the machine shop, as this is where I have spent the most time.
