04.2024 - Current
  • As the Operations Coordinator II, I am responsible for facilitating business transactions within the Law School. My duties include assisting the Business Manager with purchases that utilize both state and private funds, as well as helping to reconcile accounts and prepare financial reports. I also assist students with their travel documents before and after university-sponsored trips, ensuring compliance with state laws and regulations.

Additionally, I manage contracts on behalf of the Law School, collaborating with our Contracts Management Office to ensure adherence to all relevant state laws. I serve as a liaison between our office and various departments across campus, including Procurement, Accounting, and Human Resources, to ensure that all necessary protocols are followed. Furthermore, I assist with completing student employment forms and coordinate with Human Resources to ensure that all paperwork is processed accurately.

Machine Sales Analyst

Puckett Machinery (CAT)
02.2022 - 03.2024
  • In my role as a Machine Sales Analyst, I am responsible for helping to quote, order, and manage over 100+ machines and over 400+ attachments. I am assigned to 5 different territory representatives that help cover the 43 counties in Mississippi that our company is responsible for. In my role I am also responsible for helping these representatives quote both new and used machines including Corporate and Governmental customers using all the available credits and programs that Caterpillar offers. I work with our vendors and suppliers to get quotes for and order all the attachments for each deal and coordinate with our shop management to ensure machines are inspected and completed in a timely manner. I help manage inventory using Power BI, Excel, and Salesforce which is our ERP system. I help generate reports for upper management regarding attachments and machine inventory to better help our team operate efficiently.

Supply Chain Analyst

Milwaukee Electric Tool Corporation
03.2019 - 01.2022
  • In my role as a Supply Chain Analyst, I am responsible for 4 departments in the plant. I oversee ordering all the raw materials, working with the suppliers to ensure on time deliveries, working with the production team to communicate what tools should get built each week and then finally communicating to the corporate office when tools have been built and shipped to go out to our customers. I also oversee all the service parts for the plant. I collaborate with our corporate office to ensure we build the necessary tools to help prevent backorders and fulfill customer needs with a high fill rate percentage. I also run the scheduling meetings with our production team and ensure that they are aware of all the tools needing to be run for the following week. I work with the team here to help reduce our inventory costs and our on-hand inventory by running excel reports. Last year alone I was able to save the company over $100k by communication with suppliers and mitigating risks. I have also been able to take on several special projects along the way and I am also part of the safety team and part of our community outreach team here in Jackson.

Manufacturing Services Clerk

Milwaukee Electric Tool Corporation
10.2018 - 03.2019
  • My responsibilities as a Manufacturing Services Clerk have given me the skills necessary to perform at a high level. In my current role I am responsible for keeping track of all the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) that comes and goes through the facility from the MRO Tool Crib. I track all the outgoing PPE in an excel file and keep it updated daily. I also keep track of all the tooling that is used on the machines for the plant. I make sure that stock is kept up with accordingly and order in more supplies and tooling when it is needed. I also have been given the task of keeping up with the daily production tracking of the Step Bits part of production. I login the information presented to me into excel and make sure all the information is entered correctly. I work with our vendors to always get the best price and make sure that all the tooling and PPE arrives in a reasonable time frame.

My responsibilities include providing sales support in the showroom where extensive product knowledge and exceptional customer service are vital to company success. Additionally, I assist in managing social media and website pages for the organization ensuring current and potential customers are kept aware of our products and services.
