Throughout my time in college I made it a goal of mine to participate in as many new activities and opportunities as possible. In doing so I gained many life skills that make me a great candidate as a recruiter liaison. One of the most valuable skills I improved is my people skills from my time working on an ambulance and the time I spent doing door to door sales. I’ve learned how to start conversations and be personable with anyone, and the ability to diffuse a conversation when someone is flustered from being sick or simply not wanting to talk to me. As a sales representative and an EMT I have built a strong work ethic from working excessively long days. Those two jobs have taught me to put my head down and persevere through the challenges and obstacles the jobs presented. When asked, my peers described me as a quick learner, a hard worker, a team player, resilient, teachable, and versatile. I believe that these qualities are what it takes to be a valuable asset as a recruiter liaison, and to grow within the company both personally and professionally.
