I arrived on board USS Carl Vinson on 31JUL2020 and completed my 3 basic qualifications, Messenger of the Watch, 3M Maintenance Personnel, and Basic Damage Control (DC), within 60 days with having 90 days to complete. I also demonstrated attentiveness while arriving at work on time, having a clean uniform, and demonstrating outstanding military bearing. With these accomplishments within 60 days of reporting, I was able to achieve the Sailor of the Day award from the Captain of the ship.
