I started at Party City as a "Retail Associate", working the basic jobs like cashiering, running freight, and cleaning. In my first year I was chosen to be a temporary manager for the busy seasons like Halloween and Graduation. I was chosen consistently to be a temporary manager. Even as a retail associate I was put in charge of store projects like seasonal transitions and freight management. I was offered leadership/manager positions multiple times throughout my ~3 yrs. I officially became a permanent key holder around Halloween of last year. I have been praised for my punctuality and organization.
As a "Key Holder" I am responsible for:
I live out on some farmland in which we have ducks, goats, chickens, pheasants, (Seasonal) bees, and a pet dog. All of this provides me with a good understanding of working with animals and time management.
I have my own vehicle and secondary access to a truck and tractor. This allows for my availability to not rely on others schedules and for me to be available even during some of the more severe weather events.
