I started in the drying department on day shift as a temp through elwood on 08/7/2020 I was hired on permanently 01/12/21.
When I was hired I started as a hand grader and was trained at the feeder, ninety, stacker and Raiman from August until October.
In October I moved to graveyard drying and was trained as front and back driver, hashi two, and hashi one before accepting a bid on hashi two.
Once we swapped to rotating twelve hours shifts I swapped to drying utility and learned how to dryer tend and trained as a back up lead for Matt S. I also learned every position in the drying department.
05/23 I became one of the new employee trainers and am certified through the job instruction program. I have learned how to operate the presses, pull chain, blank sander, and even a small bit on the patch line. I have helped create new employee training schedules and job instruction breakdown sheets.
