Spending time with family
Personal Life - A family man with a wife and five kids who is fiercely protective of and committed to being a good father and husband. Those same family values are reflected in a professional capacity. Honesty, integrity, loyalty, hard work, and a willingness to learn, adapt, and move up are what can be expected.
Job Training - Working as an IT Field Service Technician for nearly 5 years laid the groundwork for a transition into maintenance. Skills like running low voltage wiring for active businesses and construction sites, experience installing productivity equipment and camera systems, use of boon and scissor lifts, and a working knowledge of tools like the buttset and various meters set the stage for experience with electrical work.
Collaborating with other subcontractors that handled plumbing, networking, and high voltage wiring means working well with others and coordinating on site schedules comes easy. Regularly having to troubleshoot wiring issues connecting a variety of business specific pieces of hardware means sorting out what's what had to become a particular passion.
As for the transition to maintenance, a lot of the maintenance knowledge was gained by doing and learning on the job from other professionals that have been in the industry for a decade or more. This environment created an excellent understanding of specific site needs, different model specs, and it helped to rapidly identify areas for improvement and offered a chance to resolve one's own mistakes. The transition has been rewarding.
Aspiration - Flexibility and an eagerness to learn are guiding principles. Learning on the fly and actively pursuing company offered certifications, courses, and management opportunities have translated to personal growth as well as professional growth. Ultimately, on site management or even regional management is the goal. Operating independently and starting a business isn't out of the question either.
Leadership Style - Finding leadership opportunities is at the top of the list. With an emphasis on customer service: creating active dialogues between involved parties, prioritizing safety, and doing a thing the right way, the first time around allows customer satisfaction to shine through! And by understanding the strengths and weaknesses of team members, putting them in positions to succeed, and finding them opportunities to learn team cohesiveness and team efficacy can improve exponentially.
Core Values - Above all, possesses desire to work with a team that mirrors the same guiding principles of honesty, integrity, adaptability, personal drive, and goal oriented, task-based work style.
