Zackary Porter

I’ve always enjoyed working in construction. I started a few years ago and wanted to learn as much as I could, so I decided that building cabins would be a great way to develop my skills. I’ve really enjoyed the work and have continued to push myself to learn and improve. Over the years, I’ve gained hands on experience in many areas of construction, including framing, roofing, concrete work, and HVAC installation and much more. I’ve made it a priority to learn as much as possible and gain experience in different aspects of the building process. After a couple of years, I was given the opportunity to become a foreman and lead my own crew. I understood that the position came with a lot more responsibility, but I welcomed the opportunity. I’ve learned how to manage a crew, take responsibility for the work being completed, solve problems on the job, and continue developing my skills through hands on experience and learning a lot more as I go. I’ve also done a lot of factory work and auto mechanic.
