Podcast host, public speaker, and proven leader with a knack for principles-focused teaching. Diverse experience as a TESOL-certified online English teacher, coach, afterschool program director, Sunday school teacher, security guard, independent candidate for U.S. Congress, political activist, and more. I hold a BA in history with a minor in political science from Brigham Young University-Provo (2022) and an MA in history from Liberty University (2024). Responsible for teaching and managing classes ranging from seven to nineteen students across five grade levels. Subjects include:
Through Zoom-based classes, I taught English for Open English to non-native speakers in one-on-one classes and in groups. I helped learners from numerous nations with their conversation skills, grammar, pronunciation, colloquialisms, and vocabulary. I am TESOL-certified through UNI-Prep Institute.
Managed classrooms and taught lessons to elementary, middle, and high school students. The most common subject was social studies, though at times I oversaw various language arts classes and general subjects.
Led boys and girls teams in drills, exercises, and games. Emphasized character-building, personal accountability, and discipline.
Writing is my passion and lifeblood. It's the itch I must scratch and the compulsion I indulge. I enjoy creating characters and plots, but my focus is on reality. I am a deep thinker and dogged researcher who does not mind disturbing sacred cows or rocking the boat, writing about everything from communism to religion to current social problems and geopolitics. I write prolifically and have tried my hand at books, articles, newsletters, blogs, cartoons, children's books, homeschool curricula, poetry, lyrics, and music. My craft is polished, professional, and powerful.

From 2006-2008, I served as a full-time, volunteer missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in and around Moscow, Russia. I performed humanitarian service, taught free English classes, proselytized, cleaned communities, performed puppet shows aimed at lowering substance abuse among youth, etc. Since then, I have served in volunteer capacities in church congregations, including as a teacher for youth aged 5-8 and 12-18, and an adult Sunday school instructor. I have also chopped wood for community members in the winter, twice helped operate a hamburger stand at a county fair to raise money for school programs, cleaned church buildings, and so forth. Also, in my youth, I participated in the Boy Scouts of America for many years. I have always been involved in some form of private, organized, or Church-related service because I believe being charitable and doing good to others is the heart of a Christian life. In all endeavors, I seek to uplift and enlighten people around me.
