Dedicated welding student with hands-on experience in Shield Metal Arc welding at Morton Ranch High School. Proven ability in teamwork and customer service from roles at EDS Landscape Supply, where I effectively assisted customers and operated heavy machinery. Bilingual in Spanish and English, I excel in problem-solving and relationship building.
At Morton Ranch High School I am currently doing Shield metal arc welding and I have been learning since August of 2025. Here I learned proper PPE and safety precaution that should be taken before and after using machines. At Morton Ranch High School I learned how to run beads form puddles and make t plate welds and I'll try to learn more before graduating.
At Cano's Landscaping I was a helper around the company. I helped by going to an other company they knew and helping around. At this location I was tasked to pull weeds, clean the ponds, fill 20 lb buckets of soil for planting, managing plants, and just overall just managing the place. Cano's Landscaping is my uncles company and he wanted my help to help manage the place's company for a while that's why I was only there for the whole of July and August. But there I met new people and got more experience in the landscaping view and was a nice experience for me.
At the EDS Landscaping Supply I worked filling up bags with different types of materials like rocks, sand, soil, and pebbles. I would have to make a full pallet of these and a complete pallet is 60 full bags. I also helped customers by loading up grass blocks, bags I filled, bricks, 50 lb stone flooring, small boulders, and guiding them to what they were wanting to buy and informing them for items they might have been looking around for. At EDS Landscaping I was also being taught how to operate heavy machinery like a fork lift for moving around heavy pallets around, and I also learned how to operate a bulldozer I was obviously being watched and told how to operate under safe circumstances. Here at EDS Landscaping Supply I also boxed items sold online here I would package and make sure that all needed items were counted for boxed correctly. Even though I was only there for a while I do feel like I helped a lot of people and I was happy working there but sadly I was let off because there were too many people and I was only a part timer so they had to let go of the part timers before their full time workers, but even so I learned a whole lot and was glad to work there.
