This audio documentary told the story of two journalists in Kashmir who faced severe political consequences for doing their job: ethical journalism after India revoked Article 370 and put Kashmir under one of the world's harshest communication blockade. It emphasized how difficult it has become for free press to exist in the current Indian democracy.
This project was a zine consisting of letters that people wrote to different people but never got a chance to post it. It included a letter from one lover to another in the conflict regions of Kashmir, a letter of last wishes from someone who was hospitalized due to covid, a letter to a crush, a letter to a non existent parent amid others.

This is the story of artists and their artworks emerging from the open air prison of Jammu and Kashmir. The 5-episode podcast intends to bring out the story behind these politically charged artworks. It aims to ask some important and difficult questions like: What led to the artists to develop the particular art? Where did they get the inspiration from? How did they create the art? What are the challenges (physical, mental, emotional) they faced while creating the art? Did they, at any point, receive threats from the government to stop their work? Did they face political consequences of creating dissenting art since it’s almost a crime to dissent in India nowadays? As the world awaits eagerly to return back to the normal, do these artists think that Kashmir has a chance to get normal ever again?
It includes interviews of a painter, a rapper, a musician, a poet, a digital artists and a journalist. It is also a part of my ongoing thesis.
