At KFC, I focused on making sure every customer had a great experience. I used creative problem-solving to handle any issues that came up and worked well with my team to keep things running smoothly. I always made sure food safety and quality were top priorities, following all the guidelines to make sure meals were safe and up to KFC's standards got really comfortable managing cash and card transactions, keeping the register organized and making sure everything was accurate. Customer service was at the heart of everything I did I always made sure to be friendly and helpful, whether I was taking orders, answering questions, or helping customers with whatever they needed. I also kept the dining area and kitchen clean so customers could enjoy their meals in a safe, pleasant environment. I learned to juggle a lot of tasks at once, whether it was food prep, taking care of customers, or keeping things tidy. Being able to manage everything without dropping the ball showed how committed I was to the job and to supporting my team.
I am in a program that is called Upward Bound, it helps high school students like me who come from a second generation arab family. It offers extra support like tutoring, test prep, and summer classes to help students do well in school and get ready for college. The program also helps with things like visiting colleges, filling out applications, and finding financial aid. Its goal is to make it easier for students to go to college and succeed by giving them the tools and support they need. I joined this program for the benefit of me and my future.
