With a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and a Minor in Education from the University of California, Santa Barbara, I am currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Public Administration at California Baptist University. My academic background has equipped me with a strong foundation in social sciences and education, which I apply to my passion for social advocacy, community engagement and empowerment, and public policy. I am driven to make a positive impact through my work and eager to contribute to meaningful projects that benefit underserved communities.
One of my biggest accomplishments is founding the Young Women Empowerment Club (YWEC) in 2017 at Coachella Valley High School. The YWEC provides a safe space for young women to address social, political, and economic issues at school, in the community, and globally.
In 2023, I received the Youth Leadership Award from the Democratic Women of the Desert for my work with the Young Women Empowerment Club, which I founded in 2017 at my local high school.
In 2024, I was invited as a guest speaker to the City of Coachella's first Women Summit.
