Subject: Entry-Level Biomedical Equipment Technician or Volunteer Opportunity
Dear Hiring Manager,
I am writing to express my interest in joining your Clinical Engineering or Biomedical Equipment Technology (BMET) Department as an entry-level employee or volunteer. I am currently pursuing an Associate of Science degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology at North Seattle College and am eager to gain practical hospital experience while continuing my education.
Through my college training, I have developed foundational skills in medical equipment inspection, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, electrical safety testing, and patient monitoring systems. I also have previous experience providing basic electrical maintenance and equipment support in a hospital in Afghanistan.
I am highly motivated to learn from experienced biomedical equipment technicians, contribute to your team, and further develop my technical skills. I would welcome either a volunteer opportunity or a paid entry-level position. My long-term goal is to become a skilled Biomedical Equipment Technician and eventually work as a permanent, full-time member of a Clinical Engineering team.
Thank you for considering my application. I would sincerely appreciate the opportunity to contribute to your department and discuss how my skills, dedication, and willingness to learn could benefit your team.
Sincerely,
Zakiullah Najibpour
