As a basic electrician i preformed over 300 preventive maintenance checks on generators and environmental control units making sure the gear is over the 90% operational mark at all times.
Installed and wired electrical transformers, service panels, and circuit breakers.
Planned layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on specifications and applicable code.
Read and interpreted electrical, mechanical, and architectural drawings and electrical code specifications for wiring layouts.
Also preformed my duties as my units hazardous waste and prevention representative, safety, fire warden, and corrosion prevention and control representative.
As hazardous waste and prevention representative I keep my unit safe and effective. Disposed of thousands of gallons of POL's, over 300 plus lead batteries and disposed of hundreds of used hazardous material cleaning supplies. While handling and disposing hazardous waste passing any and all weekly, quarterly and annual inspections and keeping track of all records required by the UCMJ.
As units safety representative I performed monthly checks on all work place safety concerns and keep monthly records of any findings and also passing over the 80% mark for any inspections.
Also have experience operating and repairing heavy equipment such as forklifts. As a forklift operator i lifted and transported over 60,000 pounds of military equipment safely and effectively.
Have lead all Hazardous material related classes and training for my unit and have keep my marines and myself trained quarterly and annually.
