Dedicated hard worker with several years of physically intensive work in several states. The capability to listen and cooperate with a team. Focused on learning things and putting them into action. Happy to be corrected and taught by anyone. The understanding that I don't know everything. Philosophical about what is new and what isn't known as well as the fact that many people know more . I live to serve and will make an excellent addition to any team.
As a CMOM Technician the day would start at 7am with the crew gathering at the warehouse for our morning meeting. During which we would go over recent developments, current events, and a rough idea of the coming day. I was on the Jet Truck. My duties were to follow a map (given every 1-3 months) and flush sewer lines from one section to the next until eventually we flushed the entire district and would be given a new map to flush. On top of that if any issues were discovered by the rest of the crew they would call me to come flush their line and remove any blockage. I would also regularly use a small modified bulldozer and clean out the bile pit and transfer it's contents to one of the waste disposal dumpsters. Then, for once week every few weeks each crew member was required to take his (there were no women in our crew) turn on call. On call responsibilities included:
The Die Maintenance crew was responsible for the repair and continuity of the Die Casts that produced the aluminum pistons, timing chain covers, and many other automotive parts. It required knowledge of welding, grinding, tape measures and other extremely fine and sensitive tools for measurement. There were 4 positions within this department and I was trained on all of them.
This crew worked Monday through Friday for 8 hour shifts with 1st shift through 3rd shift working every third weekend (Weekends were 12 hours). With this job being in production at times we would be forced into 12 hour days at a moments notice. Changing the schedule to twelve twelve hour shifts and then your weekend off.
