I find beauty in art (singing, photography and dance) is my medium that channels my humanistic side to be creative and discover and learn new things everyday. It allows me to share layers of my story and get fresh perspective on life. I've always loved to dance since I was a little girl and took on professional ballroom dancing in high-school and wanted to utilize those skills and teach others. Through my mentorship job at the YMCA, I was able to teach different forms of dance to ages K-5 ranging from line dancing to tango. From people's stories to different types of flower/herb species, coffee and growing natural foods, it allows me to connect to the earth and learn so much about practices past and present and guides me to what could be in the future.
