Accomplishments
  • Help develop and manage the Lealman Engagement Committee that plans and hosts three major events for the community (Lealman Honey & Arts Festival, Lealman Independence Day Fireworks Celebration, Lealman Christmas Tree Lighting). As an unincorporated area all community events must be funded through private donations or corporate sponsors. I manage all the meeting information, sponsor data, event planning coordinator, and document management for this committee.
  • Submitted all necessary paperwork for the Florida Dream Center's Work Readiness Program to become accredited through the National Center for Construction Education and Research. Further developed the Work Readiness Training Program using this accreditation, successfully employing over 127 individuals in gainful employment with wages between $18-$26/hour.
  • Successfully planned and managed the first collaborative fundraiser between the Florida Dream Center and People Empowering and Restoring Communities.
