I would describe me as a person with diverse identities, skills , and personalities. Not only because I am a international students but also because I was continuously learning, thinking and comparing people with different ideological, cultural and social background.

Most importantly, I feel like I am quite inclusive and comprehensive of different people and things, giving me the ability to make meaningful connection. Besides, I am always willing to help, through which I believe I could realize my personal and social values.

At the same time, as a student of social sciences and liberal arts studies, I believe that the job market is not only a place to reflect skills and attitudes, but also a place that reveals understandings, connection, caring, and the sense of humanism. I am not a person of perfect skills, but I believe in my ability to make my job meaningful and my ability to help my community.

  • work as interviewer for the research program named " Guangzhou Metropolitan Panel Survey " - a large scale field research on city investigation and citizens' well-being.
  • visit the selected sample, enter the selected family to ask them about their basic information through vocal communication and fill in the survey on our own computer.
  • receive feedbacks from the research team to improve our interview, and learn to standardized our way of asking question for data collection in quantitative research.
  • meet different people and build connection through appropriate communication and try to win their trust and meet their different demands during the interview.
