A 10,000-person conference focused on digital innovation in retail
- Leadership. As part of Shoptalk's management team with CEO and President, helped build Shoptalk from a 4-person startup into the world's fastest-growing retail conference. Combined Shoptalk and Groceryshop business had 2019 revenues of $35.8M and adjusted EBITDA of $12.2M. Revenue CAGR between 2016 (Shoptalk launch) and 2019 was 90%.
- Agenda development. Identified and recruited 300+ senior retail speakers (including 150+ CEOs) to address new digital technologies and business models in retail.
- Research content. Launched entirely new area dedicated to developing original research content for Shoptalk.
- Video content. Launched new video coverage of industry trends. Directed storyboarding, script development, talent recruiting and filming of virtual reality (VR) videos covering robotics technologies, Alibaba's 11.11 event in China and AI startup landscape in Israel.
- Editorial. Wrote all social media posts, blog posts and press releases. Edited documents including 200-page event guide and marketing materials.
