I advocated for policy changes to expand accessible campus transportation by pushing for the implementation of dedicated vans for students with disabilities, addressing systemic mobility barriers that often placed students at an academic disadvantage. In addition, I founded an organization specifically for students with disabilities, creating an institutionalized space for advocacy, support, and policy engagement. This initiative was unprecedented at an HBCU and represented a critical step toward formal recognition of disability as a key equity issue within historically Black institutions. Through these efforts, I advanced accessibility, accountability, and inclusive policy reform on campus.
