I was required to take notes and submit a bi-weekly paragraph on the things that I learned with Dr. Shelton and the pediatric cases that I saw that week in the office.
  • MAY, 2019 - AUG, 2019 LAWRENCEVILLE, GA Undergrad Intern, El-Amin Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Institute I shadowed Dr. El-Amin at his surgical clinic. I would follow him from patient to patient take notes on the common injuries that come through an orthopaedic clinic. I was allowed to examine patient MRI's and X-rays and given step by step instructions on how he would surgically fix the damaged area.
