Zivi Zhong is a Chinese-born writer, director, and playwright based in Los Angeles whose work explores migration, identity, belonging, and human relationships. With a background in dance, she brings a strong awareness of physical expression and emotional realism to her storytelling. Before moving to the U.S., she worked at Hunan TV on nationally broadcast television programs. She later earned an MFA in Filmmaking from the New York Film Academy and pursued screenwriting through UCLA Extension and UCLA Professional Programs. Her debut play, It's All Good, marked her transition into playwriting and deepened her interest in exploring human contradictions through multiple perspectives. She is currently developing feature film, television, and stage projects exploring identity, human relationships, and the struggle for personal agency across cultures and different stages of life.
