Co-worker health Nurse
- Serve as a primary health resource for all co-workers, starting with onboarding and continuing throughout their employment
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments for new hires, including drug screening, medical history review, lab work, chest x-rays (if indicated), and immunization verification.
- Stay current on Co-worker Health trends and regulations, updating policies and procedures accordingly.
- Provide simple first aid to co workers
- Serve as the office nurse for 3 providers under the supervision of RN
- Manage nurse visits appointment that include: point of care testing, immunizations, blood pressure checks
- Perform outreach for follow up with patients after
hospitalization and medication management.
- Clerical duties such as completing reports, patient portal messages, triage patient calls, disability paperwork and other patient forms.

- Provide direct patient care and POCT testing to patients per provider orders including but not limited to: administering medication, injections, glucose check, EKG, respiratory treatment, basic wound care, POCT swab, INR checks, ear irrigation, assistance with Suture/staple placement and removal.
- Assist with supply ordering.
- Manage physician schedules and assist providers with day to day workflow.
- Provide bedside nursing care to patients with a variety of conditions such as; strokes, brain injuries, orthopedic surgeries, amputations, etc.
- Communicating and collaborating with patients, families, providers, and various therapies in achieving quality patient care in a 60 bed facility.
-Perform sterile procedures such as catheterizations, central line dressing changes, etc. per physician orders.
- Administer medications and perform wound care on patients per physician orders.
- Assist patients in their routine of ADL’s.
- Asses and document conditions and progress of treatment of patients in EPIC.
- Direct patient care providing transfer, bathing/grooming, and
nutrition assistance.
- Documented patients’ inputs/outputs and daily care.
