As a teacher and tutor, I have shown exemplary ability to assist others in learning mathematics as well as cultivate a healthy, motivational learning environment. This is due to my passion and drive not only for the subject of math itself, but for others as well. At Eastern Kentucky University, I showed outstanding ability to manage and organize a tutoring center best for student-learning. At the Mathematics Tutoring Center and in my hometown, I have helped hundreds of others in most age groups develop an understanding of mathematics as well as a confidence in their ability to do so. I believe mathematics extends far beyond the classroom, and I look forward to assisting students in developing those life-long skills.
