With a proven track record at Foot Locker, I excel in customer service and possess a strong work ethic. My experience spans from pet sitting, showcasing my deep love for animals and reliability, to babysitting, where I honed my patience and creativity. My flexible schedule and positive attitude make me a standout candidate, adept at fostering loyalty and trust.
Growing up surrounded by dogs has shaped my deep love and connection with animals, especially dogs. My first dog, Sky, was a beloved companion we got when I was just two years old in Spain. Sky's playful and loyal nature made a lasting impression on me, and he became my first true friend. When my family moved to Cuba when I was eight, we rescued three more dogs—Sofia, Nina, and Canelita—each with their own distinct personalities. Through these experiences, I learned the importance of patience, understanding, and the unique bond that forms between pets and their owners. Dog sitting has allowed me to further strengthen this bond by providing care, companionship, and a sense of security to other pets, making me even more dedicated to animals. My love for animals, especially dogs, is endless, and every dog I’ve cared for has taught me something new about trust, loyalty, and unconditional love.
At Foot Locker, I developed exceptional customer service skills and a strong work ethic by engaging with a diverse range of customers in a fast-paced retail environment. My responsibilities included assisting customers with finding the right products, answering their questions about footwear and athletic gear, and ensuring they had a positive shopping experience. Through these interactions, I learned how to listen actively to customer needs, provide personalized recommendations, and resolve concerns promptly, which helped foster customer loyalty.
Babysitting Marcos and Maria, who were 3 and 7 years old, was an incredibly rewarding experience that allowed me to develop patience, creativity, and strong communication skills. With Marcos being very energetic and curious, I created fun, engaging activities that kept him entertained, like drawing, building with blocks, and simple games that encouraged both learning and play. Maria, at 7, was more independent but loved helping out, so I would involve her in activities like reading stories to her younger brother or organizing their playtime. Through this, I learned how to balance the different needs of children at various stages of development, ensuring both safety and fun. Babysitting them taught me how to remain calm in high-energy situations, think on my feet, and build positive relationships with children through trust and care.
