I am an experienced and friendly nineteen year old with a multitude of personal skills, event skills, retail, and food service skills. I have worked in a variety of environments, and am adaptable to all. I am organized, a team player, and enthusiastic with tasks. I look forward to continuing to build upon my experiences, and gain new ones as well.
I received the Girl Scout Silver Award in 2019 for creating the American Girl Doll Lending Program at the Richmond Public Library in Richmond, CA. This program is built to serve underprivileged children by giving them access to coveted, but expensive American Girl dolls, while also helping develop their reading, writing, and history knowledge. The dolls were collected from Bay Area communities, and gifted to the Richmond Public Library along with kits for each doll. The kits included personalized notebooks that the children could use to write about their adventures in; historical books that tell the stories of each doll from their time period, changes of clothes, accessories, and hairbrushes. To kickoff the program, we planned and hosted an event for the community that highlighted the dolls. The program has been running for five years, and is extremely successful.
