  • I work at Early Learning For Everyone as an administrator. My daily responsibilities here are looking after the children and helping them develop life and creative skills, managing staff, and ensuring our staff and facility are in compliance with licensing requirements. My responsibilities for managing staff are creating their schedules, providing personalized feedback and trainings based on performance, monitoring lesson plans for quality, and interviewing and reviewing prospective candidates. I left this position to move to part-time positions in my final two years of college, then returned to full-time shortly after graduating.

  • I worked at Anchorage Youth Court as a volunteer coordinator for our Youth members and as the office assistant. My responsibilities are as follows: Participate in outreach to local youth and coordinate events for our youth members to further our goal of restorative justice, schedule members for all of the upcoming court cases and prepare all of the attorney’s and judge’s files, keep our social media updated, make and distribute flyers/pamphlets throughout the community to promote our organization, make registration forms for our upcoming classes and communicate with all parents/youth who register, maintain accurate demographic information about all of our youth members in our online database, maintain records of all donations received and deposit all checks to our accounts, send out weekly emails to community members, mail out donation requests, organize all incoming mail, answer all phone and email inquiries and direct them to the appropriate staff member if needed.
