  • Research Project on Media’s Portrayal of Current Events: Presented a research paper at UCSD Eleanor Roosevelt College, explaining the methods the media industry uses to depict international current events. Analyzed the repercussions of these methods as well as impact of it on the world stage
  • Back to School Workshop For Refugee Students: Constructed and hosted a 3 day Back To School workshop for refugee children attending elementary, middle, and high school. Presented information on local school enrollment requirements, calendars,resources, community events, tutoring sessions, and provided each student with a backpack and school supply set
  • Initiated MSA (Muslim Student Union) at Sacramento Community College: The project aimed at designing and organizing a union of Muslim American students to ensure a safe and nurturing environment in order to discuss current events, fulfill religious obligations, offer community services, and increase knowledge of Islam on and around the Sacramento City College campus
