As the supervisor at Securitas, I was given tasks to do at the beginning of every shift I worked. These included dropping off schedules, making sure guards were at their given location as well as speak with multiple property managers about what a guard must do while on duty. Training and communication was also a part of a task given as the manager would explain what is to be expected at a certain site. While these tasks were being done, supervisor patrols were to be done as well like an hour patrol at an oil company, driving to all different clinic locations and taking photos of the property to submit to the branch manager to show that it was clear of any unknown activity or individuals. Then, as the continuation of the patrols and tasks were being completed one by one, I too would receive call-offs and had to fill in these positions with any other guard who was available and willing to take on an extra shift. Once the call-off and fill in were complete and ready, a note was placed on the manager's desk so they are aware of the changes that had occurred during my shift.

Being an outgoing individual, it is quite easy to be social and ask questions about an job requirement that is needed at the moment or in time. When given a task, it's easy to understand that it is something that needs to be done which enhances my mind to get it done during the present shift. If there is any issue with a task and feels it is difficult to accomplish, my social skills help in conquering any hard duties by asking a co-worker or manager for help. Another reason that being social is a great skill is that it's unchallenging to be grouped with or partnered with an individual in the environment that there is never an issue to accomplish a goal.
