Oversees the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department who are responsible for keeping the educational facilities clean and organized. Ensuring that the common areas, offices, bathrooms and classrooms are clean. Maintains the cleaning equipment and anything needed for the school is stocked and ready.

Maintains the building and grounds of the school. Mowing the lawn, pruning trees and shrubs around the entire school. Removing snow by using a snow blower from parking lots, pedestrian and play areas.

This company made corrugated boxes and I was responsible for performing various tasks to set up, operate, monitor, troubleshoot, clean and sanitize the machine. Preventive maintenance was important in preparation for production operations.

Monitored machines during operation to detect sounds of malfunction or excessive vibration and adjusted machines to eliminate problems.

Relieved classroom teacher during breaks and maintained order and structure in classroom. Oversaw students in classroom and common areas to monitor, enforce rules and support lead teacher. Implemented practice exercises and used repetition, enabling students to grasp new concepts quickly. Maintained head count and attendance sheets.
