Summer Youth Employment Program:  Participated in the program which has a mission to provide career exploration for young people, worked in cardiology department as an electrophysiology and cardiac cath lab assistant.

Prepare RI: I was accepted into the prepare RI internship program which is a program that connects high school juniors to paid internship opportunities. I was connected to an internship with the company Lifespan as an electrophysiology and cardiac cath lab assistant.

Chorus: I participated in my schools chorus, performed at events such as cultural week and the annual holiday concert, performed pieces such as lovely and glory

9-12th grade

Band: Participated in school band, played saxophone from 4th-9th grade, performed for annual holiday concerts

Babysitter: Volunteered as a babysitter for neighborhood kids as well as for family and friends.

9-12th grade

Quinnipiac First Year Immersion Program: Summer program which focuses on transitioning underrepresented youth into colleges. I participated in a number of social, cultural, and academic initiatives throughout the program. I also formed connections with both faculty and students alike.
