Holding a position as an Activities Assistant at Courtyard Gardens of Jupiter required me to be responsible for performing activities with the residents. Additionally, I oversaw serving meals, filing reports on a meal log, and reporting medical concerns and observations to maintain the residents' continuous assistance. The residents have mild to severe forms of Alzheimer's or dementia. Therefore, it was crucial to adjust the types of activities that fit their needs. I was able to work alongside a nurse and learn about various medical conditions and medications.

As a hostess at Yard House, one of the most important aspects of my job was presenting a lasting impression of the establishment's outstanding customer service. My duties consisted of greeting patrons, enter their names into a computer system, carefully monitor the waiting list, and escort them to their tables. In addition, I was in charge of receiving to-go orders over the phone, arranging them, and charging the customer once they arrived. This restaurant sees a high volume of customers per day; hence I was challenged to keep up with a very fast-paced and highly productive environment.
