I've been volunteering at multiple Second Harvest Food Bank locations for the last 3 months, distributing food to families in need of food. I'm thankful I can have a part ending local hunger by volunteering a few hours of my time to help Second Harvest Food Bank.

from 1997-2010 I was a practitioner of Kuk Sool Won, a traditional Korean Martial Art and earned my first degree black belt in 2006.

I also volunteered at a local non profit "Big Wave" which is a community on the coast of Half Moon Bay which is designed to help adults with disablities- learn job skills, helping them to discover their self worth, so they can create a future for themselves while contributing to our community. I've been volunteering with them for the last 16 years

Second Harvest Food Bank Volunteer

I've first learned about Second Harvest Food Bank through a family member. I've been volunteering with the organization for the last 3 months. I've been working with other volunteer to ask how much food they would need, and load the specified amount into their cars to either have, or the person picking up the food, would be picking up food for other members of the community in dire need of food for their families.
