Attended a national youth in leadership program for one week during the summer of 2018 in Reston, VA where I focused on the severity of cyber crimes and how to better the United States for these. I participated in a cyber threat simulation against the United States where my group had to analyze, process, and consolidate the best courses of action. Additionally, I toured the Pentagon, U.S. Capitol and the FBI museum. I listened to members of the senate, FBI, CIA, military branches and other various groups speak. I was one of five students from Virginia selected to participate in this program of 150 students. I was nominated by my Criminal Justice Instructor for attendance to this program.
