Summary

Art Instructor for the Skillset program works to encourage students to change perspectives and attitudes towards art via photography and create learned opinions. Coaches students to develop and refine problem-solving skills. Enhances learning through engaging multimedia workshops and lessons. From May 2019 to the present, I have worked with the nonprofit Campaign for Southern Equality in multiple roles to continue goal in empowering LGBTQ members of the South and beyond. As CSE's staff member, I've been working with queer communities across the South to create collaborations that focus on themes of respect, visibility and equality. For the past decade, I've been a practicing artist and graphic designer, with work featured on Southernequality.org, my personal site, makemesomeart.com and multiple local publications.

  • Working to collaborate and uplift the LGBTQ voices of the South through storytelling with video, photography, illustration and graphic design
