Mainly I have done work with Telesupport Systems Inc., while at Rol Inc. TSI works, mainly, with Ball Aerospace, as well as the University of Colorado. While at Ball, I have helped to build network closets, including running and terminating both fiber-optic and CAT5e backbones, in high-bay atmospheres, and clean-rooms, as well as both secure and unsecure cable paths inside of the corporate buildings. I have, also, worked with fiber-optic and Cat5e/ 6 cabling, and terminations, at different buildings around the C.U. campus. This, also, includes mounting vertical racks, wire managers, CAT 5e/ 6 patch panels, Light Interface Units for both SC and LC.
Worked on the road doing new construction, remodels, roll-outs, and service calls for customers such as Walmart, Costco, Sam's Club, Lowes, and Family Dollar. Including building a rapport with Store Managers, Store Planners, General Contractors, and other trades. Taking care of all necessary paper-work, sign-offs, daily work reports, and AS-BUILTS. Also, saving test results for fiber-optic back-bones, as well as CAT 5e/ 6 copper back-bones, and station drops. Extensive driving throughout the western United States, sometimes pulling a trailer, with a scissor-lift.
Central Office experience building power-plants inside of AT&T building. This included running 750 copper cable, as well as smaller gauges, building long stretches of ladder-rack and water-falls, bus-bars, mounting strings of -48 volt batteries, and dressing all cabling with 9 cord string. Also, I was certified by Lucent in fiber-optic training. We terminated, mainly, with ST connectors and used single-mode cable. We, also, ran coaxial cable to DSX panels, and terminated with BNC connectors.
