Accomplishments
For 7 years I have taught adaptive dance to children with disabilities including spina bifida, cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, blindness, downs syndrome and autism spectrum disorder at Ballet West. I taught weekly classes through the academic year assessing needs of each student and adapting exercises, choreography, and performance opportunities.
Since Aug 2022 I became the Associate Adaptive Dance Director at Ballet West managing 3-4 classes, training aides and teachers, and collaborating with personnel on outreach and development.
