I was born and raised in Appalachian regions of West Virginia and Ohio, respectively. Even though the states might be different the rural small-town values were the same in both locations. Moving to Lexington, KY my freshmen year put me in the largest city in which I have ever lived. I have grown to love Kentucky and Lexington and fill like I have flourished and matured in positive ways.
