Although most of of my work history doesn't fall in to a strictly management category they have included group lead/ leadership roles frequently. At OI I was regularly asked to fill in for Our Tech communicators when they would fill in for supervisors and as a result attended and participated in production meeting on a regular basis. I worked for an Engineering company( Cowin and Company) for aprox a year between college and Conagra as a security guard. Guards where not part of the supervisors normal scope of hiring and after seeing my work ethic, The supervisor hired based on my recommendations and allowed me to do the scheduling , and eventually delegated all aspects of security to me. As the Cycle count/Inventory specialist at Conagra I had to maintain constant communication between Purchasing, Production and management to ensure continual out put. Our team regularly achieved 99.9 % accuracy on our annual audit and performed just as well on our more frequent audits The highlight being less than 10,000 dollars off on over 15 million dollars of inventory on our last inventory and only using the 5-7 members of our team. Shortly after I departed Conagra it was determined that the position I had held would need to be filled by two persons to keep up with the required workload.
