I received a LOE, Letter of Evaluation, while on deployment in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E at Al Dhafra Air Base, that reflected my performance during my 6 month tour overseas from May 5, 2021 - November 9, 2021. A few of those exceptional moments include:
Being a very high energetic person, I try to stay as busy as possible between my three favorite hobbies. I've played basketball all my life making it my favorite sport. At an early age I fell in love with the game; My parents even told me I was shooting the ball before I could walk. Minimally, I try to play a few times a week, while also currently playing for my unit team. Furthermore, basketball helps me stay active and maintain my physical fitness. Even though basketball can surely be considered a work out, when I am not on the court I go to the gym for strength training and weight lifting, a different type of exercise. I discipline myself to go 4 times a week. Working out as a whole makes me feel better as an individual both mentally and physically, helping me maintain a good, healthy body and lifestyle . Although I love basketball and going to the gym, that wouldn't be what I spend most my time doing. Above all, my favorite thing to do is to work on cars. I currently own a 2020 Dodge Charger 392 Wide Body Scat Pack, 2006 Jaguar S-Type, and prior to those owned a 2006 Suzuki GSX-R 600 sports bike which I fully rebuilt and resold. Since a young age, I've always had a passion for working on cars and bikes. Finally, since I have my own to work on, I am always fixing, replacing, or modifying something on them myself. Being so motivated to do what I have always wanted to do, I didn't let not going to trade school get in the way of me learning how to perform routine maintenance on a vehicle, or even how to diagnose a mechanical issue by learning how the components of an engine is supposed to operate and function together. Now, I can easily and successfully perform what I call basic to mid-level routine maintenance on any motor vehicle. I have changed oil in numerous amounts of cars other than my own, performed tune ups, replace parts such as filters and air boxes, alternators and stators, and clutches and clutch gears on motorcycles. I've also had the privilege to work on your more complicated European and British car manufacturers such as BMW, Volkswagen, and Jaguar. Not only can I do routine maintenance, but I am even more knowledgeable and experienced on adding modifications to your vehicle as well. I have installed stars in the roof of many car ceilings, originally seen in the high end ultra-luxury Rolls Royce, speaker and amplifier setups, oil catch cans, interior and exterior LED lighting, and cold air intakes. All my knowledge was self taught by watching how others performed the similar or same things on YouTube. In addition, I am currently looking to start my own business in the near future for all interior and exterior lighting modifications as the automotive industry continues to expand at an excessive rate. My love and passion for cars continues to grow deeper everyday because there is so much more to learn about them that I don't know. Over time, it has taught me key lessons such as working on my patience, not quitting but learning to get better at whatever it is I'm trying to achieve, and to trust my own judgement. Last but not least, it has helped me discover what my main purpose is in life, and that is to fix and/or modify parts on cars and motorcycles. To wake up and do what you love most isn't called a job, I call it living the American Dream.
