God has been a tremendous blessing allowing for service and the prospect to minister to a wide variety of groups and individuals over the past few years. Preparation in Christian Education at Dallas Baptist University has provided the gain of valuable knowledge applicable to vocational ministry. Serving on staff as the Youth Minister at Oates Drive Baptist Church in Mesquite has prepared me for future roles in ministry. Due to the nature of church and staffing, I was able to learn and acquire an expansive skill set. God provided a couple of years of face to face ministry experience for me, but I also learned a great deal of ministering to youth in the 2020s by use of social media. Service at First Baptist Church of Garland and various local churches, laid groundwork for a wealth of knowledge from hands on experience while also assisting in networking to soak in wisdom from other church leaders. Mission trips developed avenues towards humility and allowed God to move in uncomfortable ways to to bring kingdom mindedness. God has used formal education and volunteer experiences as preparatory measures for vocational ministry. Work experience in the retail environment has blessed me and provided the opportunity to learn how to talk to people, learn to meet their needs, and develop conversational skills important for evangelism. God has been a blessing and steadfast in grace, mercy, and provisions in a calling to vocational ministry and grooming for a life of service to God, family, the Church, and community.
