As members of an A.A.V. crew or unit, A.A.V. Crewmen perform various duties incident to the operation and maintenance of amphibious assault vehicles and the Up-Gunned Weapon Station (UGWS) MK19 40MM/50.CAL M2. A.A.V. Crewmen prepare the vehicles for the tactical employment of troops and equipment during ship to shore movement and subsequent operations ashore.

• Conduct amphibious and mechanized operations
• Perform preventative maintenance checks and vehicle inspections
• Maintaining and operating a multi-million dollar, 26 ton, government assault vehicle
• Produce reports on equipment serviceability, incidents, personnel readiness and intelligence for superiors
• Utilize effective troubleshoot techniques to resolve machinery issues

Interviewing incoming emergency room patients prior to admission to gather demographic, insurance, and emergency information

Ensuring completion of paperwork, sign-in and security procedures

Explaining and enforcing facility policies

Preparing and distributing patient identification bands, and arranging transportation to assigned rooms.
