  • Jan - Sep 2019: assigned in the metro Detroit, MI area as a member of program leadership team for a national bank during the final months of the retail phase of a five-year, multi-million dollar Agile-based asset financial system replacement implementation.
  • Responsibilities included managing, reporting, and supporting communication / escalations of key program controls (status, metrics, issues, risks, scheduling and critical path), and deploy and post-deploy tracking and monitoring requiring a high level of program/project management skills and experience to be highly effective during final execution stages of the overall effort.
  • Oct 2017 to Dec 2018: assigned in the metro Detroit, MI area as a member of the ITC project leadership team responsible for the successful turnaround of a large multi-million-dollar Transmission Management System (TMS) replacement project.
  • The ITC TMS manages bulk electrical energy transmission operations and SCADA (@ 700 RTUs) across their full 15,800 circuit miles of service territory.
  • Effort involved replacement of ITC's former ABB Ranger platform with the new OSI monarchTM solution through a combination of crashing and fast-tracking the remaining project schedule and negotiating support of the software vendor for accelerating earlier delivery of remaining system deliverables.
  • Main accomplishments included: Supporting the Operations Program Director and IT Program Manager (TMS/EMS/SCADA Project Management Implementation SME) with advanced program management skills and services for specific project workstreams and responsibilities for the overall program effort as identified below.
  • Supporting the Quality Assurance Work Lead by providing direct Site Acceptance and User Acceptance Testing coordination support of testers; test result and defect reporting, escalation and resolution; supervision of testers to support timely test procedure execution for all facets of the new monarchTM TMS system; test result information gathering, report data, and approvals/signoffs to support auditing requirements.
