ACTIVITIES

Outside of my main forms of ministry, I was a part of a group called Faith & Justice, which is group that is lead by faith to bring awareness and justice to social issues around us. 50 hours a semester is required, and I got those hours by volunteering at the Food Pantry that provides students with free meals and snacks. I work with Urban Youth Impact, located on Palm Beach Lakes, that works with inner-city kids and provide care, education, and mentorship that incorporates faith to empower them with skills that will help them be successful in their careers and any goals or dreams they have. I work with 1st graders, helping them with class work, homework, and being a role model/positive reinforcer for their development. Also being a mentor to several young women, that are in elementary to college students, and schedule meetings throughout the week with them.
