In high school I was in drama club, choir, and color guard/band. i have now done a kids camp for a week where i was a small group leader. I did about one year of drama club, About 3 of choir, and about two for color guard and 5 of band. I have also taken professional vocal lessons since i was 9 years old.

before going to the state level you had to compete at districts, and at districts you had to meet a certain level of expectations, standards, and get a high rating of a superior to advance to states. the ratings from lowest to highest are as follows: poor, fair , good, excellent, superior. The leesburg high school color guard got not only the highest level ratings at the district level but also at the state level (we got superior at both). A superior level performance, is a performance that is very little to no errors, completely on beat, completely synchronized, and had an outstanding amount of skills. examples are various tosses and movements with the flag, and various skills in dancing.
